Hey DD, you completely forgot we got foreign entrepreneurs and their employees  here as well: restaurant and bar owners, lots of language schools and teachers, equipment suppliers and trainers for the Thai armed forces  and last not least a couple of 'jack-of-all-trades' professionals. Probably I forgot a few even.

Thought you lived in Jomtien, you thinking of moving your Old wearisome body to Korat, though i believe you enjoy the larger ladies of Buriram ;D

Right DD, I'm waitin' to die in Korat; I like it here so much I don't wanna pass away anywhere else. My wife and her family is takin' care of me so good.  :)

Since the friendliness of the Korat and Isaan folks is legendary I don't need do explain any further.

Think I messed up on the poll a bit, retired in Korat and waiting to die in Korat only needs to be one option :)
I wonder if in years to come Korat will surpass Pattaya as the farang death capital of Thailand.....

Perhaps we need some statistical information about the farang population of Pattaya and Jomtien - broken down by alcohol intake and age. On the other hand, why should people thriving in Korat care?
