The “Klang Dong” Art Floating Market, Nakhon Ratchasima

Located amid mountains and forestland of Nakhon Ratchasima’s Pak Chong district, this small art market, officially open since early 2009, is part of the Klang Dong Mountain View Resort and is in the style of English garden beautifully decorated with folk art pieces hence many nice corners for photo taking. Besides shopping for decorative items and enjoying food – such as noodle, grilled steak, ice cream, and coffee, visitors can also join an art workshop to paint pots or take a water color painting, drawing, or oil painting course with prices ranging from Bt250 to Bt350 per hour at the art studio by painter Bancha Sriwongrat. Visitors can also visit a giant white Buddha image located amid the green on the same road to the market. The market is open on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm. For details, call 044-361-876-7 or visit http://www.klangdongmountainview.com/press/?p=201.

I rather like the look of that, even though I don't see the connection with an English garden. I wonder whether the art teacher speaks English. He might be able encourage me to get back into my old hobby.

Can someone offer directions of or a map in English, please?
