Thao Suranaree Fair

The annual Yamo Fair must have started today. Officially it goes until April 3, but it usually takes a week longer until all the sales booths have cleared out.

Has anybody already been there and can report? Is it worth going downtown for it?

From memory, it's interesting once you get there. Parking is the problem. A cynic might say that it's much like any other festival - stage entertainment, food, goods on sale, food, food ....... I won't be going again because parking is too much of a hassle for the benefit and we have a good local festival in a few days' time. It's on a smaller scale but much the same thing and we can park close by.

Here's something a wrote about it a while back:

Parking at Klang Plaza on Chomsurang is probably still the best possibility around there. But our pickup is too difficult to navigate in their car park. So we always go into the parking lot at Chomsurang Post Office. Costs 20 Baht, but I can't remember ever having found that completely full. Just go early!
