Hi all, I am a newby on here but not to Thailand. I have lived and worked in Phuket for nearly 15 years and hoping in the not too distant future to semi retire in Korat. I say semi retire, as my g/f and I want to do some home farming. 10-15 rai, chickens, mushrooms, vegetables etc.
Recently I have been reading some excellent discussions on kotatfarang forum. Guys who have moved to Korat and doing exactly what I intend to do. Successes, failures, where to buy, what to buy etc. etc. I tried several times to join the forum, but never received acknowledgement. Tried again yesterday and then today find that the forum is now closed.
I am hoping that some of the guys from there are also members on here, so that we can start a thread.
I am also a keen golfer and whilst I note there are a number of golf courses in the Korat region, I cannot find and reference to a golf society. Is there one?
