Jet Skiing in Korat
« on: November 18, 2009, 07:55:09 PM »
Yep.  You can now rent a jet ski.  Sikhiu which is about 30 minutes from Korat has a lake called "Sapadoo."  I just got back a few minutes ago and I have to say I was impressed.  I didn't inquire as to the price, but it can't be too bad.

I'll post more info as I get it.  Yes, Thais drive just as crazy on Jet Skis as they do in cars and mototbikes.

Cool Chris.  Sapadoo is one of my favorite places to visit.  It's not that far from the metropolis and offers a very nice serene atmosphere.  There are small huts down the beach a bit that you can stay at for 400 baht a night.  Just bring your own pillow :)

When you first come down onto the lake you should be able to see the rental hut.  I'm not sure of the details, but I will look into to it.   :)
