Nong Prachak flower garden in Udon Thani

Nong Prachak flower garden in Udon Thani Thailand is a fantastic location to sit down and hang out with the family. The gardens are made up by a number of individual islands each one of which possess different themes and different kinds of flowers.

Visitors to these flower gardens commonly lease a small rowing boat (approximately 100 baht or $3 for 3 hours) look around the small islands in the artificial lake. The lake waters are full of coy-carp and catfish and the waterways are littered with various kinds of lilies growing within the water. The smell of the lilies is overwhelming, Visitors can see numerous kinds of butterflies flying around the flower gardens. The butterflies are not trapped by nets and stay in the gardens basically because of the number of flowers and plants for them.

Visitors to Udon Thani heading from the south are often taken back by the dry and baron surroundings, in comparison to other areas of Thailand. Udon Thani carries a hotter climate and less mountains, soil and land erosion are a continuous battle for farmers in the area trying to make a living for their families. Flowers seen growing in the area are the ones that are far better suited to a dryer weather. Shady areas makes it a possibility to grow roses and other flowers which are sensitive to the heat during the day.
