Who will really have the last laugh?  Well, it has to be the expat.  For those who stay behind for a life of long commutes, bad weather  and high prices they have the expensive care homes to look forward to.  GBP 36,000 a year and rising fast:- https://www.theguardian.com/money/2017/nov/18/older-people-34000-a-year-care-home-residential-care-crisis-provision.

Yes t/t not much to look forward to for the aged in the uk. With the pensions deficit, retirement age could hit 80 in years to come, there is a shortfall of trillions in what people are saving against the cost of funding their retirement.

People are living longer now and that's increasing by two years every decade on average. according to the WEF report babies that are born now can expect to live till about 100 yrs old. Although Japan have an ageing population but are managing. Hows it gonna work some employers believe that you are to old for the job at 50. Good old Gordon, Who lied to pensioners about independence. Who printed billions of Pounds to save the banks, did he have a choice. Politicians not trained for the job.
Yes we made the right choice. Retirement in the UK is a form of death sentence.

So where did it all go wrong. something missing in this vid  ;)
