Well thanks for that Thaiga.
IMO a lot of twaddle from a very self-satisfied character.
He manages to touch a few points on 'not to do' matters in Thailand - e.g. all day drinking.
He points out that living in remote and rural Thailand such as Isaan can be a bit challenging - but Korat's ok ain't it !
Would rather go to the Dentist than watch more and as for subscribing to this VLOG - I don't think so .............

Hi roger, Korat's ok ain't it ! of course it is m8
The best part of the video was the 7-eleven door chimes at the begining of the clip :lol

Why are so many people fed up in thailand after a couple of years, could be they might be fed up where ever they are. Well sunny's happy anyway, or is he easily pleased ;)

where do people get this idea retired expats living in rural thailand are not happy, and it's always in isaan.where would they be in there own country,in an old peoples home,an ocassional visit to their local for half a lager, sitting in the corner on there own.

i know of a few expats in isaan and there are some decent thai ladies that take care of them, they are not all gold diggers,in my humble opinion i think the folk that speak out like that are not happy themselves and it is them that are in a rut.

Not everyone enjoys life in the same way do they?  Personally, living in Phuket for 15 years is not my idea of fun, but Sunny obviously doesn't feel the same way so good luck to him.

A bit of local knowledge and guidance, or even personal opinions, is fine, but preaching for 15 minutes is a bit much (and this is just vlog#41!).  It felt a bit like listening to a sermon in the church of expat - "thou shalt not consume alcoholic liquor in the morning and thou shalt not live in Issan lest thou lie down with maidens of ill repute and loseth your uppermost articles of clothing."

I was in that area on Tuesday dropping of the wife's PP for the visa stamp to be placed in it. e drove from Korart to sukumvit or what ever its called. 3 1/2 hours travel but the last 4 km took 40 min, what a Floked up road system there in Bangers,

The icing on the cake was the "parking attendant", after we had parked the car he wandered over and said something to Mrs KC, Well I have never seen her tear a strip of any one like that before, I was just about to call him all the nasty words I could think of but Mrs KC beat me to it. he was just a lazy Muppet. It turns out that all the stalls on that floor are reserved for the companies in side and we had to leave the car side on but in neutral, so I set the hand brake on just a tad just so that it would move but with a lot of effort.
On leaving the area we saw an older Farang and a young Thai lady both had similes on the there faces :) I guess that where happy ;D

I could not get out of there quick enough, glad to be back in Korat.
KC

Well said KC !
I had a few days in Cha am last week and was glad to be back again, as always.
Myself I'm a music lover rather than a devotee of any sort of bar scene.
So all I can contribute to this chat is to recommend the 'Check Inn', (nr. Sripatana), where
on Friday nights you will find the 'Heng Band', talented Thais playing western rock, sometimes quite heavy stuff and they are IMHO, THE BEST PUB BAND IN THE WORLD............................
And I've been watching pub bands for 50 years.

I don't have one because I don't hang out in Bars....in Bangkok or Korat.  However, back in the day when I was single, there were several places I liked to frequent.  It all depends what you're looking for.  If you could provide me with more detail, I could better the question.  ;D

Question.  He says, "This is ME welcome video."  Why not say, "My?"  Is the popeye language something to be proud of?

I think the "ME" is just down to his Northern (Lancashire?) accent...it's the rest of it that's nothing to be proud of.
