Thai Chili
« on: March 06, 2010, 07:39:26 PM »
I've been doing a bit of gardening this past week and one of my projects is Thai Chilli plants, so we shall see if they live or die :)

First off I opened a Thai chili and spooned out the seeds, nows not the time to rub your eyes or genitals, next the seeds need to spend a day in the sun to dry them off, if you don't they will go mouldy before they even get the chance to grow.

So here is where we are at the moment.

I should add these are the normal mouse s-hit peppers, ie the tiny ones but I have a very good camera that does real good close ups.

A little gardening tip, after you have damped your tissue, added the chilli seeds, covered securely in plastic and hidden it away from prying eyes and hands, make sure you check it everyday, Thais are inquisitive beasts and they will find it, they will take off the plastic wondering whats underneath, and then just put it back, if like me that happens to you, you the same as me will just feed some dry tissue with some dead seedlings on.

Shall try again next week :(
