Forest run-off from monsoon rains has ravaged areas of two widely separated provinces, Prachin Buri and Satun, causing the death of one person and affecting over 500 households.

And in Nakhon Ratchasima, the opening of sluice gates at Phimai dam is being blamed for a flood which swept through a local community on Wednesday.
