Earth Hour in Bangkok on 31st March 2012
« on: March 13, 2012, 04:35:24 PM »

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) is preparing activities to help reduce global warming.

“60+ Earth Hour” will this year take place on Saturday 31st March from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. when people and businesses will be asked to turn off lights for one hour. Other cities around Thailand, as well as the rest of the world will also be taking part in this activity. In the lead up to this event, businesses along roads like Silom, Khao San Road and Yaowarat, as well as shops at Siam Paragon and Central World shopping malls will be turning off unnecessary lights for one hour between 22nd and 27th March 2012. People are also encouraged to take part by biking to work instead of driving, planting trees and using the stairs instead of the elevator.

Anyone who goes to a psychiatrist should have his head examined.
