School bus overturns in Saraburi
« on: January 20, 2012, 08:21:48 PM »
A school bus carrying 62 students crashed and flipped onto its side in Saraburi’s Muak Lek district on Friday evening, injuring 40 passengers.
Officials said the crash happened just before 6pm on the inbound lane of Mittraparb Road at kilometre marker 28 when the road was slippery from a rain shower.

The bus driver identified as Praset Jaikrasan, 55, lost control going around a curve, went off the road, hit a Bodhi tree and flipped the bus onto its side, police said.

The bus was one in a convoy of five buses carrying students from Wat Rachathiwas School in Bangkok’s Dusit district back to the capital after a camping trip in Saraburi.
