This is for the drivers who don’t mind getting out of their comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to fill up the tank themselves. The way people in most countries do.

PTT opened Thailand's first fully-self-serve gas station on Srinakarin Road on Saturday offering a discount of 30 satang per liter in exchange for pumping your own gas.

At the fully-self-service station, customers can pay directly with a credit card or PTT cash card at the machine or walk to the cashier to pay in cash.

This is PTT’s first no-service station after launching several semi-self-service stations in the Paholyothin, Nongkhaem, Sutthisan and Bantadthong areas seven years ago.

At those stations, customers have to walk further, as they can only pay at the cashier for the same 30-satang discount rate, VoiceTV reported.
