Villagers pull-together to rescue pregnant Cow in East Pattaya

Villagers in Soi Boonsampan in East Pattaya came together to rescue an 8 month pregnant Cow from certain death on Wednesday afternoon after it became stuck in a deep hole at a condo construction site.

Rescue Volunteers were also called to the scene and devised a plan with villagers to rescue the 6 year old cow known as “Dang”, as its owner, Khun Samat aged 73, apprehensively looked-on.

While some began to tie ropes around the rapidly tiring cow, others were ensuring it was well watered following direct exposure to the sun for more than 2 hours.

A supreme effort from everyone saw the cow rescued. The expectant mother collapsed after the rescue due to extreme fatigue but later stood-up and was escorted away from the area by its owner who was angry that the construction site was not fenced-off.

We understand that a complaint has been made to the Nongprue Administration Office over the lack of fencing at the site.

Anyone who goes to a psychiatrist should have his head examined.
